Prime Video Kickstarts God of War Live-Action Series with First Look at Kratos and Atreus
Prime Video confirms production has begun on the live-action God of War series, sharing a first-look image of Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus. The adaptation from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios has a two-season order, with Ronald D. Moore as showrunner and writer and Frederick E.O. Toye directing the first two episodes. Produced with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions, the project also features cast members Mandy Patinkin, Ed Skrein, Max Parker, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Teresa Palmer and others as Kratos and Atreus begin their mythic journey to spread their wife’s ashes while Kratos teaches Atreus to be a better god and human.
