Thanksgiving Turkey Fry Sparks Connecticut Mansion Fire
A $3 million mansion in Weston, Connecticut, was destroyed by fire on Thanksgiving after a turkey frying incident in the garage. The blaze, which started in the garage, quickly spread throughout the 10,000-square-foot home, rendering it uninhabitable. Firefighters battled the fire for 16 hours, facing challenges such as structural collapse and damaged water supply hoses. Fortunately, all 25 residents escaped without injury. The cause of the fire is believed to be related to the turkey frying, though an official cause has not been confirmed.
