Sod Issues Cut Short Ole Miss vs Southern Miss Baseball Game.
A college baseball game between Ole Miss Rebels and Southern Miss Golden Eagles was canceled in the fourth inning due to "unplayable sod conditions" at Trustmark Park. The decision was made for player safety after several instances of sod being reset during the game. The game will not be made up due to scheduling conflicts with both schools.
