Retired New York State Trooper Steven A. Tyrrell, who served for 26 years, has passed away at the age of 58 due to an illness related to his work at the World Trade Center site after 9/11. He leaves behind three children and was last assigned to Troop T, Henrietta. Funeral arrangements will be posted on the New York State Police Online Newsroom.
