"Recovery Update: Illinois State Trooper Shot in Shocking Confrontation"
The Illinois State Police has released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting that occurred on October 24. Cristobal Santana, who is also a suspect in a Chicago homicide, is facing multiple charges including attempted murder and aggravated battery. Trooper Dakotah Chapman-Green was shot in the leg and sustained serious injuries. He is currently recovering in the hospital. Santana was taken into custody after fleeing the scene.
