AEW will be hosting the Continental Classic tournament, featuring a 12-man field including Bryan Danielson, Andrade El Ídolo, Mark Briscoe, and Eddie Kingston. The tournament will consist of round-robin matches in Blue and Gold Leagues, with winners receiving three points and losers getting zero. The finals will take place on December 30, and the winner will be crowned the Triple Crown champion. The identities of the remaining eight participants will be revealed during the Selection Special hosted by Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone.
