A parked trailer containing $750k worth of dimes was broken into overnight in the parking lot of a Walmart in Northeast Philadelphia. The unmarked trailer was only secured with a padlock and contained approximately $750,000 in dimes. Police found dimes scattered throughout the parking lot and down the street in the aftermath of the heist. The thieves attempted to haul away the dimes by "cross loading" them, but some coins scattered in the parking lot and down the street. Police are investigating the incident and do not know how much was taken or how the thieves knew about the trailer's contents.
