Pro-Palestinian Protesters Block 101 Freeway in Downtown LA
Pro-Palestinian protesters blocked all northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles on Monday, causing significant traffic disruption. The demonstration was in response to a deadly Israeli airstrike in Gaza. Protesters walked from Los Angeles Street to the freeway, waving flags and stepping in front of moving vehicles. After a brief altercation with a motorcyclist, they moved to the shoulder and eventually left the freeway, allowing traffic to resume.
