"Baltimore Residents Demand Accountability and Transparency from Mayor Scott at Community Meeting"
Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley and Mayor Brandon Scott held the second in-person engagement meeting with city residents, as part of a series of town-hall style meetings scheduled throughout August. Worley, who has been serving as interim commissioner since June, was nominated by Mayor Scott to permanently lead the Baltimore Police Department. The meetings allow residents to voice concerns and ask questions about public safety, while also providing Worley an opportunity to share his vision for the department's future. The City Council will vote on Worley's confirmation after all engagement meetings have concluded.
