UConn Dominates Canadian Opponent in Homecoming Game
The UConn Huskies women's basketball team played a homecoming game against Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), a non-NCAA opponent, in Toronto. The game was arranged as a reward for senior Aaliyah Edwards, who is from Kingston, Ontario. UConn dominated the game, winning 111-34, with Edwards leading all scorers with 26 points and 10 rebounds. The game will count as a regular-season one for UConn but will not affect their NET rankings.
