Convicted sex offender captured after escaping St. Louis hospital
Tommy Wayne Boyd, a convicted child sex offender serving a 30-year prison sentence, has been captured after walking out of a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Authorities launched a manhunt and Boyd was taken into custody without incident. Boyd had been serving his sentence for felony enticement of a child and had a previous conviction for sodomizing an 11-year-old boy. In a separate incident, authorities are also searching for Kevin Mason, an inmate who was accidentally released from an Indianapolis detention center.
