Heather Mack pleads guilty in Bali suitcase murder and US conspiracy charge.
Heather Mack, who was convicted in Indonesia in 2015 for being an accessory to her mother's murder and stuffing her body in a suitcase, changed her plea to guilty in a Chicago federal court for one count of conspiracy to kill a U.S. national. Mack's plea deal calls for a sentence of no more than 28 years, and her sentencing is set for December 18. Her then-boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, was convicted of murder and remains in Indonesia serving an 18-year sentence.
