Timothy Ferriter Convicted for Locking Son in Box in Landmark Trial
Timothy Ferriter has been found guilty of abusing his adopted teenage son by locking him in a box-like room in his Jupiter garage. Despite his lawyers' attempts to argue that Ferriter struggled to deal with the child's early trauma and attachment disorder, the jury convicted him of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment, and neglect of a child. Ferriter has been taken into custody.
