Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown breathes new life into the franchise.
Ubisoft Montpellier's upcoming game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, is a 2D platformer that pays homage to the original series. Players control Sargon, a warrior searching for the kidnapped Prince Ghassan, and navigate through levels filled with enemies and obstacles. The game features a variety of movement abilities, combat mechanics, and time-warping abilities that allow players to leave a static image and warp back to it. The Lost Crown also includes a Metroidvania-style exploration system, where players can collect gems and trade them for amulet charms that enhance Sargon's abilities. The game is set to release on January 18, 2024.
