"Nissan Recalls 236K Cars for Steering Control Issue"
Nissan is recalling over 236,000 Sentra compact cars in the U.S. due to a potential issue with the tie rods in the front suspension, which can bend and break, leading to a loss of steering control. The recall affects models from 2020 to 2022, and owners are advised to contact dealers if they notice an off-center steering wheel or vibrations. Dealers will inspect and replace any bent or broken tie rods, and once a new design is available, both left and right tie rods will be replaced at no cost to owners. Letters notifying owners will be sent out starting October 5.
