"Proposed Bill Aims to Mandate Sunday Operations for Chick-fil-A on Thruway"
A bill introduced in the New York State Assembly would require all restaurants, including Chick-fil-A, at Thruway rest stops to be open seven days a week. Lawmakers argue that Chick-fil-A's policy of being closed on Sundays is an inconvenience for travelers. Currently, Chick-fil-A eateries are open at only seven out of 27 Thruway service areas being rebuilt.
