
Guilty Plea: Pittsburgh Man Admits to Killing Students in Tragic Shootings
Eugene Watson, a Pittsburgh man, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, criminal conspiracy to commit third-degree murder, and two firearms charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old student at Oliver Citywide Academy. Watson, who was 17 at the time of the shooting, was charged as an adult. His brother, Brandon Watson, was also charged but had his case sent to juvenile court. The victim, Marquis Campbell, was shot outside the school in January 2022. Watson's sentencing is scheduled for January 25, and he could face up to 40 years in prison.
