AMD's Ryzen 7040U: Powerful Mobile Processors for Thin-and-Light Laptops.

AMD has launched Ryzen 7040U processors for thin laptops, which it claims can outperform rivals, particularly for gamers who may need to be content with integrated graphics. The new hardware also brings Ryzen AI acceleration to offload some work from the chip's main compute units. The initial lineup includes four processors, all with a thermal design power between 15W and 30W.
