'80s Rocker Arrested as Murder Suspect Following Discovery of Girlfriend's Remains
Theobald "Theo" Brooks Lengyel, a 54-year-old El Cerrito man and former member of the rock band Mr. Bungle, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend, 61-year-old Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani Herrmann, after her body was found in Tilden Regional Park. Herrmann's car was discovered outside Lengyel's home following her disappearance, leading to his arrest. He faces charges of murder, burglary, and auto theft, and is currently in custody without bail. The investigation is ongoing, with efforts to positively identify the remains.
