SNL's The Rundown Lets Stars Build a Fantasy Episode
The Hollywood Reporter reports that SNL is launching The Rundown, a short-form digital series where current and former cast members pick their favorite sketches and performances to assemble a fantasy episode to be streamed on Peacock, YouTube and SNL’s social channels. Colin Jost is first up, focusing on a difficult cold open and drawing from a Palin–Poehler Weekend Update parody from season 34, written by Seth Meyers; future installments will feature other stars and guests, and new episodes will debut on Wednesdays during SNL breaks through mid‑June. The next live installment is set for April 4 with Jack Black hosting and Jack White as musical guest.
