Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has released The Haunting event, featuring spooky skins, new maps, and game modes in Multiplayer, Warzone, and DMZ. Players can collect Souls by eliminating enemies and monsters, which can be exchanged for rewards. Multiplayer has new maps and game modes, while Warzone introduces a nighttime map with jump scares and boss battles. Later in the season, Vondel will have a zombie takeover, and Zombie Royale and Vondead Lockdown modes will be available. DMZ will also have a nighttime mode with supernatural enemies. More rewards and game modes will be unlocked soon.

Players can also expect Halloween-themed Operator Bundles and a Haunting Soul Capture event. The event starts on October 17th, one day after the Modern Warfare III beta ends.
