
Tierney's Alexander: Netflix Tackles Tutoring Tale of Aristotle and Alexander the Great
Netflix has ordered Alexander, a drama series from 'Heated Rivalry' creator Jacob Tierney, adapting Annabel Lyon’s novel The Golden Mean. The show follows Aristotle’s arrival in Macedonia to tutor a volatile young Alexander, with palace intrigue, brutal war and ruthless ambition shaping their unlikely friendship as it helps alter history. Tierney will write, direct and executive produce, joined by Jason Bateman and Aggregate Films (with Brendan Brady) as executive producers.
