Johnny TV (John Hennigan) made his return to AEW Rampage and attacked Billy Gunn after The Acclaimed and Gunn scored a win in a trios match. Hennigan previously competed in a few shows for the company in 2022 and had a successful run in MLW. There are rumors that he has signed with AEW going forward.
The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass received about ten minutes of booing from Chicago fans during AEW Rampage, but it was not directed at them. The heat was for Harley, and fans let Billy Gunn talk when he grabbed the microphone. The Acclaimed may not be champions or top merchandise sellers in AEW anymore, but they are still getting television time. It remains to be seen how AEW will edit the segment for television.
