
New Jersey Shaken by 2.9 Magnitude Earthquake
A 2.9 magnitude aftershock hit Tewksbury, New Jersey, early this morning, marking the 177th aftershock since a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in April. The tremor was felt across parts of the state and as far as Long Island and Staten Island. New Jersey, which rarely experiences earthquakes, last saw a significant one in the 1880s.
