The Illinois State Police have identified a vehicle and driver suspected of being involved in the deadly HAZMAT disaster in Teutopolis. The investigation revealed that the driver possibly passed a tanker truck, causing it to swerve and crash. Half of the anhydrous ammonia inside the tank leaked out, resulting in five deaths and seven injuries. State Police released video footage and received information from the community, leading to the identification of the driver. The investigation is ongoing.
