Terrence Howard Faces $900K Tax Judgment After Controversial Comments
Actor Terrence Howard has been ordered by a federal judge to pay nearly $1 million in back taxes, interest, and penalties after allegedly ignoring IRS efforts to collect $578,000 in income taxes. Howard, known for his work in Hustle and Flow and Empire, had previously threatened a Justice Department lawyer and claimed it is "immoral for the United States government to charge taxes to the descendants of slaves." This isn't Howard's first tax-related issue, as he has faced state and federal tax liens in the past.
