
Terre Haute Standoff Ends in Fatal Shooting: Suspect Identified
The man who barricaded himself in a Terre Haute business and pointed a gun at police before being shot has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher W. Fortin. The officers involved in the shooting have been named as Patrolman David Pounds and Patrolman Adam Neese, who are now on paid leave pending the Indiana State Police investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and once complete, the report will be submitted to the Vigo County Prosecutor for review.
