Terminally Ill Fan Praises Early Access to Borderlands 4
Terminally ill Borderlands fan Caleb McAlpine, who has stage-4 cancer, was granted his wish to play Borderlands 4 early by Gearbox. The company flew him first class to their headquarters in Texas, where he met the developers and played the game. McAlpine expressed his gratitude and described the experience as amazing. Borderlands 4, announced at Gamescom, is set to release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with more details yet to be revealed.
