The 7-star Tera Raid featuring Meganium in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has proven to be unexpectedly challenging for some players, with its back-to-back attacks catching many off guard. Some trainers have described it as the most difficult Tera Raid yet, prompting frustration and discussions on social media about strategies for taking down the powerful Pokemon. Despite the ongoing debate, it remains to be seen whether Meganium will surpass 7-star Mewtwo as the game's most difficult Tera Raid.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trainers have devised various one-hit knockout strategies to defeat the 7-star Meganium in Tera Raid battles, including using teams with Umbreon, Medicham, Urshifu, Krookodile, Meowscarada, Oranguru, and Magikarp. These strategies involve moves like Screech, Taunt, Swords Dance, Skill Swap, and Power Trip to achieve the OHKO. These inventive tactics aim to help players earn Herba Mystica and catch their own Meganium during the limited-time event.

While some doubted the authenticity of the find, others celebrated the young trainer's luck, acknowledging the rarity of such a discovery in the game.

Completing 7-star Tera Raids requires teamwork and strategy, and players can read guides to determine the best movesets and Pokemon to choose.

The next 7-Star Tera Raid event for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will feature Typhlosion, the final evolution of Cyndaquil, and will take place from April 14th to 16th and April 21st to 23rd. Samurott, the water-type Pokémon from Unova, is making its Pokémon Scarlet and Violet debut in seven-star Tera Raids. It has a bug Tera Type, but its attack types only allow for a few stable counters. Upon defeating Samurott, you’ll be able to catch one, but only one. There are several builds that allow you to take down Samurott easily, but it's recommended to bring in Screech-using Pokémon to set up without doing damage.
Decidueye, the grass- and ghost-type Pokémon from Alola, is making its Pokémon Scarlet and Violet debut in seven-star Tera Raids. The best counter for Decidueye is a powered-up Miraidon with some support Bellibolts. Upon defeating Decidueye, players will be able to catch one with its Hidden Ability, Long Reach, and complete perfect IVs. Other drops include Exp. Candy, Tera Shards, Bottle Caps, and treasure items to sell for money.
