Northern Lights Illuminate Skies Across US and Canada
There is a chance of seeing the northern lights in northern Minnesota on Friday night, with a possibility of glimpses in southern and central Minnesota. The weekend weather will be dry in most of Minnesota, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Some parts of northern Minnesota, western Minnesota, and northwestern Wisconsin may see light snow showers on Saturday. Most of Minnesota still has plenty of snow cover for winter activities, with snow depths of 18 inches or higher in much of the northern half of the state. The official Twin Cities high temperature has not reached 50 degrees this March.
