Gunfire at West High School: Student charged after teacher grazed.
A 14-year-old student's gun accidentally discharged in a classroom at West High School in Knoxville, grazing a teacher but causing no serious injuries. The student has been charged with reckless endangerment, reckless aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon on school grounds. The school went into a midlevel lockdown, but students were dismissed early and no ongoing danger was found.
