
Connecticut Police Crack Down on Street Racing and Takeovers, Make Arrests
A 20-year-old Norwalk man, Jefferson Duron, was arrested for leading street racing and takeover events that turned violent at times in Hartford, New Haven, and Tolland counties. Duron's events involved blocking roads, intersections, and parking lots, setting fires, performing burnouts, and vandalizing police cruisers. He has been charged with several offenses, including inciting to riot and reckless endangerment. The public is warned to be cautious when approaching such events as they can be extremely dangerous.
