Wendy McMahon has been appointed as the sole leader of CBS News and stations, taking on the responsibilities of overseeing the network's domestic syndication business as well. Amazon Studios is launching a syndication business called Amazon MGM Studios Distribution, which will sell streaming originals, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Tomorrow War, to other outlets. The unit will be led by Chris Ottinger, who has led MGM's distribution team for over a decade, and will also continue to sell MGM library titles. The first batch of Amazon Studios titles to be made available include feature films and TV series such as Goliath, Hunters, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Amazon MGM Studios Distribution will launch at the L.A. Screenings market later this month.
