Nintendo has added three new SEGA Genesis games to its Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. The games, "Wolf of the Battlefield: Mercs," "Vectorman," and "ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron," are now available for members to play. This update is part of Nintendo's ongoing effort to expand its retro game library, with at least one new game being added each month.
Nintendo has added Donkey Kong Land 2 to the Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online app, following last week's addition of the original Donkey Kong Land. In this sequel, players join Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong on a mission to rescue Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool, with the help of various animal friends. The game features optimized graphics for Game Boy and is compatible with Super Game Boy for enhanced visuals.
Donkey Kong Land, a 1995 Game Boy title developed by Rare, is now available on Nintendo Switch Online's Game Boy app. Unlike a direct port of Donkey Kong Country, it features unique stages and a meta plot. This addition increases the Game Boy and Game Boy Color game library on Switch Online to 30 in the west. The standard subscription also includes NES and SNES games, while the Expansion Pack offers access to Nintendo 64, Mega Drive/Genesis, and Game Boy Advance libraries.
Nintendo UK has released a new trailer for Nintendo Switch Online, showcasing the Pokemon games available to subscribers, including Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. More titles are expected to be added to the service in the future.
