Nintendo is offering a Lizalfos tail and a Traveler's Sword as free in-game items for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom through the Switch's news channel. Players can redeem these items to craft a makeshift whip for Link, which can extend and retract when swung. The whip can also inherit elemental properties if the Lizalfos tail belonged to a Fire-Breath or Electric Lizalfos. To redeem the items, players need to select the Zelda news story in the Switch News Channel, click 'Play Now,' and load their game file.
