Ark 2 Delayed to 2024, First Game Remastered and Next-Gen Version Out in August.
Ark 2 has been delayed until the end of 2024, so developers Studio Wildcard will release a remaster of the original Ark: Survival Evolved called Ark: Survival Ascended in August, which moves it over to Unreal Engine 5. However, players can only buy it in a $50 bundle with the sequel, which won't be finished for at least a year, and the original Survival Evolved servers will be switched off when Ascended launches. The delay is due to several factors, including the development team being new to Unreal Engine 5, and Ark 2 is shaping up to be substantially different from Survival Evolved.
