Murder suspect Andrew James Hall, accused of brutally beating a woman to death in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, was arrested after a manhunt. A Dearborn Heights police officer recognized him from media coverage and called for backup. Hall was apprehended about a mile away at a bus stop. He is also believed to have attacked another woman at gunpoint in a Target parking lot. The victim has been identified as Lisa Moffett, a 38-year-old prostitute.

Chicago Mourns Victim of Fatal Hit-and-Run, Police Search for Driver.

Friends and family of James Richard Thompson, who was killed in a West Loop hit-and-run, are determined to track down the driver who did it. The 26-year-old was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning after he left Soho House, a private social club. Police are looking for a four-door 2006-2010 Mercedes-Benz sedan, which may be missing the passenger side-view mirror with some possible front-end damage. Thompson's family and friends want justice for James and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
