"Universal Surpasses Disney as 2023's Box Office Champion with Mario and Oppenheimer"

Disney's seven-year reign as the box office leader ended in 2023, with Universal taking the top spot, largely thanks to the success of the animated Super Mario Bros. Seth Rogen's Super Mario Bros. Movie Controversy and Upcoming Donkey Kong Project

Fans of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie are disappointed with Seth Rogen's lack of effort in his role as Donkey Kong, as he has refused to do any voices and will simply sound like himself. Some have pointed out that this is a missed opportunity for Rogen to put his own creative spin on the character. Others have criticized the casting of major Hollywood celebrities over actual voice actors. Despite this, it remains to be seen if Rogen will surpass Chris Pratt as the most disliked actor in the movie.
