James Gunn has announced that Ana Nogueira will be writing the screenplay adaptation of "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" for DC Studios. Gunn praised Nogueira's work, stating that her take on the story is beyond his expectations. The film will focus on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and is part of the DC Universe that Gunn and Peter Safran are developing. Gunn is also attached to write and direct "Superman: Legacy," set for release in 2025.
