Green Day will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dookie and 20th anniversary of American Idiot by playing both albums in their entirety on their summer stadium tour with the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas. The set will also include songs from their new LP Saviors, and the tour kicks off on June 29 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
'80s power ballad bands Def Leppard and Journey are teaming up for a 23-city Summer Stadium Tour next summer, joined by Heart, Cheap Trick, and the Steve Miller Band on select legs. The tour, featuring bands whose members are now in their 60s, kicks off in St. Louis on July 6 and ends in Denver on Sept. 8. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Dec. 15.
Def Leppard and Journey are teaming up for a North American summer stadium tour starting on July 6. The 23-show tour will feature Steve Miller and his band on most dates, with Cheap Trick or Heart on others. This is the first co-starring stadium tour for the two rock bands, who have previously toured together. The tour will include stops at Citi Field in New York and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Def Leppard and Journey are both Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, and Steve Miller is a 2016 inductee.
