Portland officers wounded as suspect fires shots; wide manhunt in Northeast Portland
Two Portland police officers were hospitalized after a suspect fired at them in Northeast Portland. Police activated the Special Emergency Reaction Team and Crisis Negotiation Team, establishing a wide perimeter in the Sullivan's Gulch area. More than 60 units responded, with road closures and shelter-in-place guidance for residents as officers search for the suspect.
