A disruptive passenger on a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to New Orleans was subdued by crew members and passengers after threatening a flight attendant with a shard of broken glass, claiming he would "cut off her head." It took the combined effort of eight people to restrain the man until law enforcement could board the plane. The passenger, identified as Nelson Montgomery, is receiving medical treatment for his injuries and will be charged with aggravated battery, disturbing the peace, and simple battery.
