"Scorpion Stings Sleeping Man in Testicles at Las Vegas Hotel"
A man staying at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas reported waking up in excruciating pain after a scorpion stung him in his testicles while he was sleeping in December. The man found the scorpion hanging on his underwear and subsequently checked out of the hotel, with the room being comped. He is considering legal action and is unsure how the scorpion made its way into the room. While scorpion stings are painful, they are rarely life-threatening, and they tend to be more active at night and usually don't sting unless provoked.
