Legendary Negotiates Distribution Deal with Paramount
Legendary Pictures is in talks with Paramount to establish a new movie distribution deal, following the expiration of its previous agreements with Sony and Warner Bros. The deal would exclude certain franchises like Godzilla-Kong and Dune, which remain with Warner Bros. Despite mixed success at Sony, Legendary continues to produce major hits like the Minecraft Movie and upcoming projects like Gundam. The negotiations are part of Paramount's broader efforts to rapidly expand its film slate after its merger with Skydance.
