High School Stabbings Prompt Increased Security Measures
A student was stabbed in the parking lot of Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The school was put on a modified lockdown, which has since been lifted. The suspect is in custody and the injured student is being treated for their injuries. This incident occurred a day after Middle Creek High School went on lockdown due to a student bringing a BB gun onto campus.
