South Side Back of the Yards fire claims man’s life on South Damen Ave
A man died in a house fire in the 4700 block of South Damen Avenue in Chicago’s Back of the Yards. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead; age and identity have not been released, and area detectives are investigating the fire’s cause.
