Alex Palou dominates Detroit qualifying, but criticizes track conditions.

The track is unique due to its bumps and the only split pit lane in the series. The Penske Corp. is the promoter of this race, and they did a lot of good at Belle Isle, including saving the Scott Fountain, modernizing the Belle Isle Casino, and basically cleaning up the park for Detroit citizens to enjoy.
