HALO Space has unveiled the design of its Aurora space capsule, which will offer a luxurious space tourism experience with comfortable seating, large windows, and fine cuisine. Unlike suborbital space tourism companies, HALO Space's stratospheric balloon will take passengers on a leisurely six-hour flight, allowing them to admire the Earth from 22 miles above its surface. Priced at $164,000 per seat, the capsule aims to provide a "glamping" experience for passengers and is expected to begin commercial operations in 2026.
