
"New Developments in Gilgo Beach Murders Investigation: Suspect's Connection to Storage Units and Renovated Apartment"
Two storage units in Amityville, New York, have been searched by state and county police in connection to the Gilgo Beach murder investigation. The units, located at Omega Self-Storage facilities, were searched for any potential evidence related to the victims discovered in 2011. Meanwhile, Rex Heuermann, a suspect in the Gilgo murders, was arrested in New York City and is also considered the prime suspect in the 2007 disappearance and death of another woman. Over 200 guns were recovered from Heuermann's home, adding to the ongoing investigation.
