
Maryland man steals military vehicle, leads police on highway chase
A man recently released from jail in Maryland stole a 5-ton military vehicle and led police on a highway chase, crashing into multiple vehicles before being apprehended. Michael D. Stevens II was charged with motor vehicle theft, assault, and failing to obey a lawful order. He had just been released from the Harford County Detention Center before stealing the vehicle. Stevens appeared in court and was ordered held without bond.
